Retreat Theme: LIFE Inspired in the Present Tense

How to stay present even if it’s tense, and do so with less drama.

Allow yoga and meditation to bring you face to face with “what’s happening now.” If we don’t know what’s happening in this moment then we don’t feel good.

We numb out.  We miss out.

Ways we numb out? Overworking, watching too much tv, shopping, staying constantly plugged into social media, using food, alcohol or drugs to not feel what we don’t want to feel.

Going on this retreat will wake you up.

Truth is we can only heal what we feel.

And feeling means relearning how to Be Present, even if it’s tense, because this is the most important moment there is.

Most humans are never fully present in the now, because unconsciously they believe that the next moment must be more important than this one. But then you miss your whole life, which is never not now. And that’s a revolution for some people; to realise that your life is only ever now. – Eckhart Tolle

From this retreat you will learn to construct your days in ways that lovingly construct your best life. You will know how to Live a LIFE Inspired to action:

  • My daily rituals keep me grounded in my intentions.
  • My daily rituals keep me connected to my deepest desires for… (love, happiness, peace)
  • My weekly rituals keep me connected to my tribe
  • My annual rituals keep me aligned with my dharma

In advance of your retreat please read the book The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. We will use the lessons about life, love and purpose from this important book as guidance for our week together. We will have journaling exercises, sharing circles and meditations related to The Alchemist and setting the course for manifesting our Best Intentions and embracing YOUR Best Life.

alchemist do it now“The Alchemist begins in the Andalusian region of Spain, where Santiago is a shepherd who dreams of traveling beyond the confines of his life. However, he is content with his routine and takes comfort in caring for his sheep. Santiago is not prepared to abandon his entire life just to travel, until he meets a mysterious and magical man who changes his outlook. The man tells Santiago that each individual has a Personal Legend, something that they truly desire, which is their purpose in life to accomplish: “There is one great truth on this planet: whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, it’s because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. It’s your mission on earth.”

Before Santiago sets off on his journey, the man tells him a story about a boy who seeks the secret of happiness from a wise old man. From the story, Santiago learns that while he should never lose sight of his destination, he should also enjoy the experience of getting there.” – Rachel Narducci

We will have journaling exercises, sharing circles and meditations related to The Alchemist and setting the course for manifesting our Best Intentions and embracing YOUR Personal Legend.

  • “You must always know what it is that you want.”
  • “To realize one’s destiny is a person’s only obligation.”
  • “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
  • “I learned that the world has a soul, and that whoever understands that soul can also understand the language of things.”
