Silvia lives her happiness in such a big way that you can’t help but leave her classes, workshops, trainings and retreats spiritually uplifted! Born in Ecuador, raised traveling around the globe she is an adventure junkie, writer & happiness coach. After being run over by a car & using yoga to recover physically & emotionally, she owned a Chicagoland yoga studio for 9 years, has taught for 15 yrs with over 12,000 hours of experience. Silvia is currently writing a book about Prescriptions for Happiness and has a popular blog called Loving Your Life, along with producing her “Loving Your Day” videos. Thru Alchemy Tours, she leads retreats worldwide. She also founded Alchemy of Yoga, a nationally recognized RYT200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Self-Study) Program in its 10th year. Her next training is: Costa Rica Teacher Training July 30 – Aug 20, 2016. Her articles appear regularly in MindBodyGreen as a Wellness Expert, Do You Yoga, Yogi Times, Yoganonymous, The Cultureist, My Yoga Online, and Daily Cup of Yoga amongst others. Silvia lives in Seattle near the water and the mountains. She loves making Aperol Spritz while entertaining friends at home, and often helps others redecorate their homes. She dreams of one day living on a beach “almost” full-time and simplifying her closet by 50%.

JIM BECKWITH
Artist * Light Seeker * Wisdom Teacher
Jim Beckwith (Hanuman Das) is an accomplished musician, songwriter and teacher. His love of music and yoga inspired him to focus on bringing live music to yoga classes. Jim’s music is soulful and evocative of healing and inner awakening. He mixes mantra chants and English lyrics with a melodic and accessible tapestry of sound, exotic instrumentation and undulating rhythms. A compelling lyricist with a voice that soars from high to low with the greatest of ease, Jim is a devoted yogi and musician who focuses on Bhakti – the great yoga of the heart.
Jim has played with many of the world’s top teachers; (Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Saul David Raye, Desiree Rumbaugh, Amy Ippoliti, John Friend, Sianna Sherman, Janet Stone, Kia Miller and Tommy Rosen, among others).
He has shared the stage with with many great kirtan artists such as Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, Bhagavan Das, Govind Das & Radha, Brenda McMorrow, C.C. White, David Newman, Kirtaniyas, Aykanna, Shantala & Saul David Raye.
When not on stage Jim enjoys…
Capturing images created in beautiful light. He spent years working professionally in photography, in photojournalism and in the commercial world.
He is inspired by travel to faraway places as well as seeking the extraordinary in the mundane. He’s a proud father and spiritual brother to many. His roots brought him from living in Florida, North Carolina, Nashville and Boulder, Colorado to settling in southern California.
