Law of Abundance: You have happiness

The Law of Sufficiency and Abundance: You have everything within you right now to make your life a living dream.

We live in a Universe of abundance, although the majority of us have learned to view it as a Universe of scarcity. There is an unlimited supply of every good and wonderful thing, and experience. There is enough for everyone! There is always enough. We have bought into a lie that there is not enough. This lie is the lie of scarcity and limitation.

The truth is we are completely abundant and are able to create whatever we desire. The truth is that we live in a world where, spiritually and energetically speaking, there is an unlimited supply of goods. You were given life, and have access to the power that you need in order to create the life in the way that you choose. And you are not hindered or cheated out of your “portion” of prosperity if someone else achieves or acquires success. We are eternal beings in physical form; well-being and abundance are the basis of our Universe.

Beliefs based in lack affect our ability to manifest our hearts desires, from a space of ease and effortlessness. This lack mentality controls us by keeping us longing for what others have, or fighting to be better than others.

Most of us feel that who we are, what we have, and what we are doing is not enough. That is a big lie. You learned about the Law of Attraction. If you feel that nothing is ever enough, that is what you will be attracting into your life. If you feel you are not enough, you are right. If you feel what you have is not enough, you will continue to receive not enough.

It is time that we learned to tap into the truth of our being. This truth is that we are enough. In this moment, we are perfect, whole and complete just as we are. Because we are growing and expanding beings, we will always desire to have more in our lives, but if we are coming from a place of “not enough” we never will truly feel that whatever we manifest or bring into our lives is enough.

So when is it going to be enough?
When are you going to feel satisfied?
Is it when you lose the 10 pounds?
When you finally have a million dollars in the bank?
When you finally have your ideal relationship?
How do you know what will be enough?

If you are always looking outside of you, at circumstances and situations to become more than they are, you are not in the now and appreciating what you have. If you continue to chase things outside of you in order for you to feel that you are enough, you will never feel truly satisfied. There is always more to achieve, acquire, and do.

When you come from a place of feeling that everything in your life right now is sufficient, you will know great peace. When you can feel gratitude for what you currently have in your life, while at the same time feeling excited for all the things you desire to manifest, you will know complete joy.

What if you aligned your thoughts and emotions right now with abundance? What if you felt that you are enough? You are worthy. You have everything that you need right now inside of you to build a fortune and to reach your goals. You have all you need inside of you to create your ideal job. You have everything inside of you to attract your ideal mate.

You always have enough.

Manifestation Creation with YUW

You create your reality. A simple concept, yet one that is difficult to remember.
While holding a difficult pose, we often create a story in our mind. For me, my nemesis, chair pose always brought this on. The more dramatic and exaggerated the story, the harder the pose was to hold. At times, I would tell myself that this pose was going “to kill me”. Pretty quickly, I started to believe that it really was out to get me. This is what happens when our minds our polluted and filled with distraction.

Through the power of meditation, we calm our minds and harness the power of our ~60,000 thoughts per day. From this peaceful place, we can more clearly see the inner messages that reveal themselves about life’s direction. Meditation leads the way to the strength of manifestation.

In chair pose (or pose that you find challenging), try to tell yourself a new story: one of easeful self-confidence. You will soon find that the pose becomes what you want it to be, an expression of personal empowerment.

In Manifestation Creation, we take this one step further: “To hold an image in our mind increases the possibility that it will materialize.” Think about that. Say it aloud, write it down, repeat it. If you see something in your mind, you will manifest it. But if you don’t know how to harness the power of your mind into that image and stay with it, then you water down the opportunity to tap into your greatest potential.

When I was in Junior High and High School I practiced archery. I got pretty good. But even at my peak performance, had you put a blindfold on me, the arrows would not have come anywhere near the bulls-eye. The learning here is that We can’t hit targets that we can’t see. You have to see what you’re aiming at.
Today, open your mind with meditation and get clear on your target.

5 Key Actions to Manifesting Your Best Life:
1. Manifestation Creation: Outline your intentions for an ideal moment one year from today.
2. Write down what you visualize as the target of your manifestation. . (Science tells us by writing it down you direct the other 59,000 to focus on that one. As the lululemon manifesto says, “the conscious brain can only hold one thought at a time. Choose a positive thought.”)
3. Aim for the bulls-eye of your intention.
4. Stay true to what you want to manifest by posting your bulls-eye manifestation, rereading what you’ve written and journaling about your progress and passion to make this your reality
5. Tell others about your target: Say it aloud. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Alchemy of Yoga

What is the Alchemy of Yoga?

To me Yoga is the result of a unique personal alchemy. It is about taking the personal growth we experience on the mat into making the changes we want in our lives, in our bodies, in our minds, in our hearts. Anytime you want to transform and move beyond your limitations to me this is the Alchemy of Yoga. And this what I call the life coaching work I do through yoga.

Chapter 2 verse 1 of the Yoga Sutras sets forth how the Alchemy of Yoga actually works. “Tapas svadhyaya ishvara pranidhana kriya yoga.” Translated to mean that yoga helps us transforms ourselves on three levels:
1. Physical Alchemy – Tapas
2. Mental Alchemy – Svadhaya
3. Spiritual Alchemy – ishvara pranidahana

Tapas helps us ignite the changes we want to make in our lives. It is about the getting fired up, literally heating the body through moving and breathing in the vinyasa

While we are following the discipline of tapas and engaging in physical practice to help move our stuck energy we are watching ourselves. In yoga we study the self to learn about the self. (Different than studying what other people to do to try to learn about you, which many of us have tried in other modalities). Here the mental alchemy is through self-observation. We witness what is going on in our thoughts, what are we thinking, why are we thinking that (but without over analysis) more like an older brother would look after a little sister. In this way we are the actor on the stage starring in our life story as well as sitting front row center as the audience.

As we are doing and watching we let go of the ego of judgment. We move beyond wanting life to be different and begin to feel the surrender that allows what is being offered to mix together and marinate. We practice ishvara pranidhana as we trust the universal intelligence that hugs us from all directions to know what it’s doing. And once we find this trust we begin to believe that beauty and goodness are within us flowing nonstop and there is no reason to stop this flow for its natural current is to align with the current of grace that is everywhere outisde us. Beauty becomes our way of life. Happiness becomes our natural alchemy.

You see when we come to the mat we are like the Alchemist in his laboratory mixing ingredients. For us as yogis our laboratory is our mat and the ingredients are our bodies, our poses, our breath, our thoughts and the mixing it all together creates a result every time. We are always different from the beginning of class to the end. Whether we want to be or not, we are changed, we are free. In that freedom is love. Love yourself, love your day, love your life!
