1. Is there still room available?
A: Yes we do have space. The spots are filling, and we only take 14 maximum guests. It is a nice size group, not too big, or too small.
2. What is the best place to fly into from the US and transportation to the hotel?
A: Florence is where we will pick you up. Uur exact pick up location in Florence: Hotel Palazzo Vecchio (via Cennini 4, 50123, Florence, Italy, near Piazza Adua. http://www.hotelpalazzovecchio.it/hotel_location/). It is a short couple block walk from the train station and super place to make a reservation if you are coming early or staying later. We will pick you up at Hotel Palazzo Vecchio at 10:30am on June 23, 2012.
3. Can I rent a bicycle there? Do I have to be a very strong cyclist?
A: We have cyclists at all levels. Jake has 10 years experience as a Cycling Guide around the world and has an incredible reputation for making everyone feel good about their abilities. Yes, we rent the bikes for you in Italy. No need to bring a bike. Easier just to let us take care of that for you 🙂 Italy is lovely to see on two wheels even if you go out just once for a couple hours with us.
4. Is the trip all women or is it coed?
The trip currently is coed. We have 65% women, 35% men on the trip. And a lovely mix of ages. What everyone has in common (most are coming to Italy for the first time, and it’s their first yoga retreat) is an open mind, a curiosity to try new things, new foods, meet new people and have a wonderful time.
Where can I learn more about the Tuscany Yoga Retreat?
Here are some links to check out: I write about Yoga Retreats for Mindbodygreen.com and maybe you saw my recent article for lululemon for whom I’m an ambassador, along with being a manduka ambassador and ombassador for yogitunes.com
